Robert D. Wright, MAI

Title

Robert Wright began his real estate career in 1974 as a real estate appraiser while enrolled at the American University in Washington, DC.  In the late 1970’s he also acted as a consultant to tenant organizations that were attempting to purchase their apartment buildings for conversion to cooperative or condominium ownership.  Noted as an expert in the appraisal and analysis of tenant-initiated co-op/condo conversion projects, which evolved into longer term focus on multifamily property with appraisal work from Northern Virginia to New York.  Expansion of the geographic reach of the practice coincided with a move back to the Philadelphia area after 12 years in the Washington, DC area.  Licensed as a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker. Over 2,500 multifamily appraisal assignments performed.  Significant research and familiarity with hundreds of affordable housing properties enabled development of a niche in transitioning older subsidized projects to revitalized residential communities while maintaining affordability.
